Human dignity in the age of AI.

Exist Intrinsic is a podcast and systems lab exploring how we preserve stability, family, belonging, and community as AI reshapes work.

People are the purpose.

Riley Stange, founder of Exist Intrinsic

Why this exists

AI is not creating fragility from nothing. It is accelerating what was already breaking.

Work, housing, income, and belonging were already unstable for many people. AI is intensifying that pressure, changing who gets to feel useful, secure, and connected.

The challenge is not only technical or economic. It is moral and social: whether automation deepens disposability or helps create fuller human lives.

The thesis

Technology should increase human dignity, not reduce it.

01

Work is changing.

AI and automation are reshaping the terms of survival, contribution, and economic usefulness.

02

People need stability.

Reinvention is not possible when people are isolated, overextended, and one crisis away from collapse.

03

Community is infrastructure.

Shared life, shared tools, and shared support may become essential during the post-labor transition.

Old model / new model

A more human response to instability.

Old model

Live alone. Pay too much. Compete alone. Break alone.

New model

Lower costs. Shared infrastructure. AI-native adaptation. Community support. A pathway to contribution.

Start here

A founder-led systems lab, not a detached commentary project.

I am building infrastructure for the transition I wish had existed when I needed it.

Riley is not approaching this as a detached commentator. Exist Intrinsic comes from lived experience with fragile work systems, failed conventional pathways, economic instability, and the need to build new forms of stability, belonging, and contribution.
